Welcome to Robert Piggott CE Infant School

Robert Piggott CE Infant School is a co-educational school catering for 140 pupils aged between 4 and 7 from a wide variety of backgrounds.

A highly regarded part of the community, our school is located in the Thames-side village of Wargrave, 30 miles west of London and set in a tranquil, spacious and secure environment surrounded by trees and gardens. With excellent facilities including playing fields, fully equipped buildings and a heated swimming pool, the school is able to provide the children with a sense of space that fosters learning, physical activity and fun.

Parents, pupils and visitors see the school as a friendly, secure and welcoming environment where the enthusiasm and care provided by the staff goes well beyond just educational aspects. This means children are very quickly settled, happy and eager to learn - a major contributor to the high academic performance the school has continuously maintained.

Academic standards are well above average by the end of Year 2 in Reading, Writing, Maths and Science and exceptionally high in Art, Design, Music and Drama - a key strength of the school.
